Heat Defeat Lakers in Game 3 of NBA Finals

Can Jimmy Butler continue to lead the Heat team?

The Miami Heat are not going home without a fight and Jimmy Butlers making sure of that. The Heat defeated the Lakers 115-104 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

In the absence of both Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic Jimmy Butler’s triple-double lead Miami past the Lakers. Butler set the tone early in the game by dominating both ends of the floor. Miami’s star put up 40 points, had 11 rebounds and 13 assists.

Lakers superstar LeBron James led his team with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists but Anthony Davis struggled in Game 3 getting into foul trouble early on and finishing with just 15 points and 5 rebounds.

When asked about the Lakers Jimmy Butler shared in an interview that, "They can be beat, as long as we do what we're supposed to do," and on Sunday night, down two of their top players, the Miami Heat did just that. 

Game 4 of the NBA Finals is set for Tuesday night.
